Silver Sport Transmissions STX performance short-throw front shifter conversion kit. This kit will allow you to move the shifter from the stock rear location to the front shift position for a more bench seat-friendly fitment. The shifter stub will be 13-1/2" behind the clutch housing. Fits aftermarket Borg Warner/Tremec T56, LT and LS T56, Ford Mustang SVT Cobra T56, and Dodge Viper T56. Does NOT work with the aftermarket Tremec Magnum 6-Speed.
This kit requires the hardened steel shift rails to be cut according to the instructions we provide. We also have options with pre-cut shift rails included. Call us to help determine which front shift kit is right for you.
This is a complicated job that requires the complete teardown of the transmission. We suggest having a professional perform this job.
